Projecten
sms4science
Van 2009 tot en met 2015 werkte ik in verschillende functies in het project sms4science.ch. Het doel van het internationale project was om de communicatie via SMS te onderzoeken en de specifieke linguïstische kenmerken van dit type van communicatie te analyseren. Om dit te bereiken hebben wetenschappers uit verschillende landen de handen ineengeslagen om een uitgebreide SMS-corpora te creëren in zoveel mogelijk talen. Het Zwitserse gedeelde van het project werd geleid door Elisabeth Stark.
What's up, Switzerland?
Het project What's up, Switzerland?, waarin ik tot 2020 als coördinator werkde, wilde de linguïstische karakteristieken van WhatsApp-communicatie onderzoeken. Het was een niet-commercieel, universitair onderzoeksproject en was niet geassocieerd met WhatsApp of Facebook. De SNSF had in 2015 een subsidie voor onderzoeksmiddelen goedgekeurd. Het project ging van start op 1 januari 2016 en had een looptijd van 4 jaar. Het project was geleid door Elisabeth Stark.
